Aurelia:   \a(u)-re-lia\ as a girl's name is pronounced aw-REEL-yah. It is of Greek origin, and the meaning of Aurelia is "golden light".

The Aurelia Foundation was created by parents of special needs individuals to establish programs to encourage discovery and development of their unique talents and abilities as they leave the school system and enter community life.

Our mission is to create state of the art, day programs for adults with disabilities.  Our programs offer enriching learning experiences and a curriculum based upon the individual learning styles and abilities of each young adult.
